Boomi artesian baths

Boomi spa and swimming pool complex is a terrific place to relax either in the water, on a poolside lounge or on the lush green lawn under the shade sails.

Boomi hosts a 25 meter cold pool, wading pool and a hot Artesian spa pool. Hot Artesian water is also added to the cold pool to help reduce the shivers a little!

The Boomi Artesian Pool draws mineral rich hot artesian water from a depth of 1,222 meters from the Great Artesian Basin and has been used to swim in since its construction in 1905. Construction of the present day baths was commenced in 1975 and the latest addition of the spa baths was in 1996.

Harnessing this pure source of underground water has become an asset to our community...one which we now share with you!
